Here are some frequently asked questions.

Q: Do you really get asked that many questions? 

A: Not really… but I figured I should put this section in so it wouldn’t end up being a hassle later.

Q: Do you have a day job?

A: You think I make money doing this?  Well… not yet.  Only time will tell.  To answer the question… Yes.  I work as a graphic designer/illustrator for Adidas golf.  Kinda random, (seeing as I don’t care for golf) but it pays the bills.

Q: What’s up with that Slayer music video?  Did they pay you lots of money?  What program did you use to put that together?

A: I do a ton of driving around, so my Ipod is always on shuffle and going between music like Slayer and then back over to the Beegees.  No matter how many times I hear the Slayer song “Criminally Insane,” it hypes me up, and it always stuck out in my mind as an amazingly awesome, yet overlooked, song.  I came up the concept of the video driving on a freeway in San Diego, but I originally held off on doing it because I didn’t think there would be much of a point in doing so.  Just seemed like an absurd amount of work for something I could watch and say “Hey… that’s cool.”  About a year passed, and I finally was at a point where I just wanted to bust out something fast and fun.  I worked on it in my free time for few months, and released it out to the interwebs (and somehow it got fairly popular… so thank you to all the fans).  The whole thing was put together in both Adobe Photoshop (main art) and Adobe After Effects (for the animating).  I’m not sure if Slayer has ever seen it or not, but I’d like to think that someone at their camp has probably checked it out by now.

Q: Are you making any cartoons right now?

A: At the moment, no.  I was going to create another Orky cartoon, but animating stuff takes FOREVER… and I had too many things I wanted to do with my life… like, live it.  I’m not doing any more Slayer cartoons because I don’t think it would be any better than what I have already done.  If I were to do one, I would want it to be so far beyond that first cartoon that it would consume my life for atleast a year or two.  I have too many other projects in my head as is, so I’m afraid the one will have to do   I was briefly considering doing another music video for the Judas Priest song “PainKiller,” but again… it would take FAR too much time to make it look right.  Maybe one day, If I’m rich and bored and rich…

Q: What other projects are in the works?

A: At the moment, the main project is this webcomic.  Second, I’ve been working on a real life comedy ninja movie with my friends.  Most of it’s filmed, but it’ll be awhile till it’s released ( Lots of effects… Going to work on it when not working on Orky).  Third, I have an experiment going where I meet 100 strangers and talk to them.  Afterwards, I sketch them from memory and have a quick synopsis of the conversation.  I’ve got a ways to go, but afterward it’ll be compiled into an e-book for you all to enjoy.  Also have been working on some music with my brother that’s in the vain of Depeche Mode/Nine Inch Nails… we’ll see what happens with that.

So yeah… I keep busy.
